Not as secretive about their existance as most hidden cities. Those living in the village would rather kill any human who tries entering rather than hide from them.
Even humans permitted to enter will be regarded with extreme hostility.
Outside of this the village operates much the same way as any modern town. Including employment and living in structured housing.
